We’ve always had our eye on Alice Gao’s photography — her attention to lighting and detail consistently makes for striking images. Here she captures some of our newest pieces on her friend Lisa Przystup. Through the photos, she depicts a day in the life of the multi-tasking writer and florist.

“Besides the stunning fiery red color of this gown, the knotted detailing adds that little something special. The bracelet is another nod to the crisscross detail in the knot. I almost feel like Lisa could be an old Dutch painter's subject in this outfit!”

“The wide shoulder straps and cutouts on this dress definitely make a statement, and I think whoever wears this will get tons of compliments. It’s perfect for a cocktail party, but versatile enough for any dressy event. It really shows just the right amount of skin.”

“I know this silhouette of cropped top and high-waisted culottes is everywhere right now, but I still dig it because it’s fun and flattering. The flower detail on this top is super-subtle too, which I like because it feels feminine without being too girly.”

“This is probably my favorite shade of gray (just look into my closet), and I love the texture on this particular vest. Gray and hunter green go so beautifully together as well, and no one rocks vintage Levis as well as our model, Lisa Przystup."
