I felt that this dress was pretty however the chest area was limiting and was why I had to go up a size. The neck line allows the straps to sit on the outer part of the shoulders which limits your arm movement. I don't think I would rent this again because I didn't feel my 100% best but I did receive many compliments.

The sleeves were way too big on me so it looked more like a boat neck/off the shoulder thing, and the fabric is very heavy and sort of reminded me of a curtain or something like that. It was flattering on, but I didn't end up wearing it out because of the weird fit.

Got tons of compliments on this dress! The size ran a little small (I wore an 8 and am usually a 6) but I loved the dress!

Dress was tighter through the hips than the top but I would say it ran true to size. The overall cut of the dress was body hugging but the fabric does not give. I would recommend this dress! Got so many complements all night long!

The dress was beautiful! The fit and length was awesome. More shimmery than expected, so it is geared for a formal event. There is a weird flap of fabric on the back which I didn't care for. But all in all, a very beautiful dress!!!

This dress is beautiful. The colors are even better and brighter in person. The dress fits well although the chest area is a little tight and it has a side zipper which makes it a little challenging to zip up. I chose to wear it to the rehearsal dinner rather than the wedding because it was tight and the fabric is a little rough and I thought it might not be comfortable for dancing, but I would still highly recommend this dress. The bow in the back is a cute addition.

Had to wear an extremely padded bra and pin the straps to the shoulders - it does run larger on top. Once I'd done that it worked well and although I think it bunched a little under the chest no one else seemed to notice. Got lots of compliments and would definitely rent again!

Wore this to a May wedding. I received so many compliments on it. So comfortable to wear; was dancing all night! Runs a little small, I wore the backup size four. Absolutely loved it

So cute! Not my usual style and I have never worn Tracy Reese but seeing all the RTR reviews made me choose this for a not-too-serious fall wedding in San Francisco. After reading the reviews, I ordered a size up for back up but even that (size 8) didn't zip all the way!! I will say that I have a large rib cage, so anyone out there with the same, consider 2 sizes up. Beautiful dress in person though, and I might try renting again as a holiday dress.

This dress is a show stopper in person!!! Wore w nude heels! 4 fit perfect, is fitted around the bust and a bit bigger on bottom. So comfortable and received compliments the entire night long!

I thought the fit was a little strange around the arms, and it wasn't incredibly comfortable. The fabric is very stiff. I wore it, but I didn't feel gorgeous in it.

Dress fit true to size. I am 5'7, 125 lb and wore size 2. I was able to fit in the 0, but the bust area felt tight. The fabric does not give any stretch and it fairly thick. Really liked this dress and would highly recommend!

Was very cute but it was my backup dress

I wore this dress to a formal wedding in May. It was very pretty and I received many compliments. The colors were amazing. I rented the 6 and the 8. I wore the 8 and It was a little tight in the rib cage area so I could not wear a bra. Instead I wore sticky bra cups. Beware it is quite short when sitting but I just kept my clutch on my lap. It was comfortable to dance in. I would rent it again because it was cute and the price was good!

Very form fitting and the fabric doesn't give at all. I really liked the dress, the shoulders floated a bit on me though (5'2"). The dress was much longer on me than shown on the model, but that was good for sitting down. The underarm can show a bit of your bra. Pretty back!

The dress looks gorgeous on the hanger, but it didn't quite fit me right. The top and shoulders were lose and the bottom around my hips was tight.

My hubby picked out this dress for me to wear to dinner on our family cruise. The neckline is beautiful and the back is fun and interesting. The cut and material (brocade) of the dress makes it a 'Jackie O' style dress.

The fit is really big and made me look boxy. The chest area runs big, too, so definitely go a size down.

Loved the turquoise and green color and the fabric was similar to a thick brocade but comfortable. Unfortunately the shoulder fit was odd/ on the boxy side? Great above knee length but just couldn't get over how the top fit - just not flattering on me.

I am normally a 0 or 2 and this dress was perfect in a size 2. The wide fit on the shoulders took a little getting used to for me. I recommend a strapless bra. I used a few pieces of flash tape to secure the dress underneath my arms so my bra was covered when I moved. I also pinned the back in place so the layers would not move, which helped tailor the dress a bit more to my petite shape. With those minor adjustments, the dress was perfect for a church wedding on a (very cold) spring evening. I was comfortable all night with the fit and length of the dress. The cut and fabric are flattering. I would wear this dress again.

I would recommend this dress because of how flattering it was and how many compliments I got on it. Thankfully I followed the reviews that said it ran small. I'm almost always a 6, sometimes an 8. But I ordered the 8 and 10 and ended up having to go with the 10-- so just order up!

I am nornally a 4, but the 4 was a little too big. I would have fit better in a 2. So i wear a padded bra to help make it fit, but it was still a little loose around the stomach.

I am a petite girl with a small bust and larger bottom, and thought that this dress in a size 2 would fit me in a more body-huggin way. Unfortunately it did not, but I absolutely loved the dress! It made me feel like Jackie O. I got tons of compliments on the dress from people! My favorite part was the somewhat low back with the large bow to accentuate. I also loved how the edges of the dress were more scalloped to give the dress a more tailored look.

I wore this dress for a rehearsal dinner. It has a little bit of a boxy fit but it was perfect for the occasion. I felt pretty but still conservative enough to be sitting in a church for the first part of the night. The straps do fit just off the shoulders which is hard to tell from the pictures. One other thing to note is that a normal bra does show just a little under the arms. Some double sided tape can fix that though.

The dress was beautiful in person- lots of metallic detail throughout the fabrication. The fit is more of a modified shift, and there is no stretch to the fabric, so the size is the size. I would recommend wearing a strapless bra due the the almost off the shoulder sleeve. As you can see, the arm holes are cut generously, so fashion tape helps in keeping your bra hidden. The fit is fairly true to size, but a little large in the waist and bust area. In fact, I found that the bust seemed to be fuller a bit under wear my bra hit. It's fairly straight through the hips. If you are smaller busted (32B or smaller) I would tend to size down. This is not a bodycon dress by any means, but it's classic and well made with wonderful back detail for a graceful exit. The only con I found was a very difficult hidden zipper (even when off the body); but that could've been just the dress I had. There was no damage to the zipper visibly on the teeth- it was just very difficult.

I love the low back and bow detail. The metallic jacquard of blue and teal is beautiful. However, I put on the size 0, and it was too loose at the bust and shoulders. I am a 32B and usually wear a size 0, but I couldn't fill the top. I am so bummed as I was supposed to wear this tomorrow night for my birthday dinner.

this dress was perfect. i wore it for a family event over the holidays and all of my cousins were complimenting me all night. i thought the dress was a little roomy overall i could have wore the 2 (i like my dresses tighter) and i felt because of the pattern and fabric it wasn't as slimming as i would like. i would still recommend esp for an event where you want to look stylish and glam but still conservative.

I did not end up wearing this dress... It was an amazing fabric but I am pear shaped, so it was snug on the bottom and too large on the top. Very pretty though!

i'm 5'2 about 130 lbs. the dress fit great around my butt and thighs but the chest was way to big. I couldn't wear the dress because of that. I wear around a large C/small D cup size and I was not filling out at all.

This dress was a show stopper. The fabric is a lot thicker than it looks. Very structured. The back detail makes it! I got endless compliments and gave me a great hourglass shape!

I rented this dress for an early September wedding. The colors are beautiful - much more vibrant in person. I also really liked the thickness of the material for this dress. I rented the size 2 and 4. The size 2 was way too snug around my chest. The size 4 was better around my chest but also much looser throughout the entire dress. The dress was particularly large in the shoulder and hip area. I went with the size 4 but wished there would have been an in between size.

Pretty dress!! Size definitely runs large - the top is large! I usually wear a 0-2 size dress. They didn't have a size 0 so I didn't have a back up, and the 0 probably would have fit better. I wound up wearing the 2 anyway, but it was just a little roomy. The sides are cut deep, so be sure to wear fashion tape, as well as a strapless bra!

I received many compliments on this dress including from the bride. I ordered a size 4 with a backup size 2 (based on measurement chart) I ended up wearing the 2 but could have worn a 0. As many other reviews stated, the chest area had extra room. Overall it was beautiful and I had a great night in the dress! It is a nice thick material which is a plus for when I rented it.
