Once I tried it on I didn't want take it off. The fabric is like cotton, doesn't stretch much, beautiful puff sleeves, pockets, what else to wish for? 

I wore this several times in Marrakech, including shopping in the souks when I wanted something a bit conservative since I was traveling solo. Love the colors and the fit--and even though it's long and there's a lot of material,  it keeps you cool. I rented a smaller size in the orange/pink/white one last month that wasn't available, but this worked fine--the belt is very forgiving and you can make it as tight as you need it to be. I was sad to send it back!

Definitely a thicker cotton material (the kind that makes some noise when you move), but that also makes it really forgiving. Would probably be too long on a petite frame.

The sleeves are tight for a “muscular” arm. It wrinkles easily even after ironing, but it was still a fun dress appropriate for work, evenings, church.

Stunning colours and very flattering fit. Loads of compliments on this dress. Will rent again. 

I received lots of compliments with this dress. It was comfy, loved the pockets and fit well. The arms were tight but I unhooked the button and tucked it under. It actually made it look better. 

Really love Derek Lam dresses and this one was no exception. Fits very well and love the colors. My only complaint is the material gets wrinkled easily and can be kind of loud when walking (think George Costanza suit episode of Seinfeld).  Otherwise I loved it and would rent again. 

I love this dress and would love to keep it forever ! Such a fabulous one !! Photographs so well with the awesome bottom! 

I got the 8 (44) and felt it might be a bit too big so I then got the 6 (42) and I think it’s better. Love this dress. It does wrinkle easily.

Material is so great - it’s stiff and doesn’t wrinkle. Thought I wouldn’t love the pattern at the bottom but the top is so flattering with the tied waste and structured sleeves that it grew on me 

Wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about the pattern, but it grew on me! Super comfortable for work!

This fits perfectly. Definitely will need a steam and iron to wear out. Fun for spring. 

I never met a Derek lam shirt dress I didn’t like. Easy to wear and fun pattern. I do always struggle with the sleeves being too tight for me, but otherwise no complaints

The cotton is so start her it can be a little loud when it swishes but totally worth it. Wish I could buy it!

This dress fit perfectly on my body, but was a bit tight on my arms. This wasn’t a problem though, as I just unbuttoned the sleeves. Got so many compliments!

Love the fit and color. Length was great at 5’4” with 2.5” heels. Felt like it gave more shape than this pic shows. Buttons laid flat nicely. Excellent rental for work or could be dressed down. 

Perfect length for tall women, and the style works well on a long torso. 

 The dress was a good quality. The color dipping on the bottom was interesting and I received compliments on this piece. The material was a bit heavy and the skirt was pretty full for my frame. 

Wanted to like this dress but the way it fit on my hips was terrible and cut off my figure. Wish this skirt started at the waist.

A fun dress for summer office days. It fits really well and the fabric wasn’t as heavy as I anticipated. Love the tie dye skirt. 

This dress fit true to size. There were a few practical drawbacks worth noting. The fullness of the skirt, while beautiful in motion, proved quite noisy while walking. Additionally, the fabric was prone to wrinkling easily, which became increasingly apparent as the day wore on, 
I wore this dress for an evening out on Broadway in Nashville.
Despite the before mentioned  minor inconveniences, the dress garnered spontaneous compliments from strangers - a testament to its eye-catching and stylish appeal. For short outings or events where movement is limited, this dress shines.

This dress can be dressed up or down for business casual or a night on the town. I wore it for a keynote talk and it was a hit!

I love this dress and would love to buy it. I received dozens of compliments and o felt great in it. The fabrics heavy so you've got places to "hide" if you need to...for me it's my belly. The skirt is very full and luxe. I just loved this dress and will reorder!

I wore this all summer and finally had to send it back because I had been seen too many places with it on! Perfect for work, date, parties. The bottom makes the dress and I received 10 compliments in one day wearing it ... ranging from co-workers to random people at the grocery store.  Only note: the arms are tight. It worked out but you will need help buttoning the buttons on the arms. 

Got so many compliments on this dress. Comfortable, fits well, and breathable. Takes a while to steam out the wrinkles if you're traveling or washing to rewear.

This is such a cute dress and very comfy through the body. Only downside is that the arm holes are a bit snug but luckily there are buttons- so I just wore them open

This was an easy dress for a couple of get-togethers. Nice and modest so it is stress-free as far as how to style it.
