Palais du Louvre Gown

I’m 5’6, about 216lbs, 38DDD. I should have ordered the 16. Loose on top and through hips and waist.

Dress fit well. I am generally a size 4-6, and the 6 was just right. Like most strapless dresses I wear, I was hitching it up and adjusting from time to time. Zipper a little hard to pull up due to sequins.

I rented this for an adult Prom fundraiser. I was able to dance the night away in style and comfort. Body runs true to size in waist but a bit short in length. I’m only 5’5” so not super tall. Overall, I loved this dress!

I ordered two sizes to ensure I had something for the evening event. The dress is very forgiving and stretched in all the right places. I received numerous compliments and my husband couldn't stop looking at me. This was a great experience and I will use RTR in the future.

Loved the dress! I was hesitant because I am shorter (5'3) with curves and had never really worn a form fitting gown. I found a strapless bra that worked and a pair of spanx to smooth and suck-in the parts I wanted a little more support. I am hourglass/ pear shaped and have an equal distribution of weight all over. I went with the larger plus size because I was more comfortable with the way it fit my upper arms. The dress is stretchy and very flattering. I received compliments all night!

I loved this dress! I'm only 5'1" so 10R was too long for me but other than that it was perfect!

I received so many compliments while wearing this dress. It fit so well and was comfortable. It was a bit on the long side, so I should have gone with the short length.

The fit was wonderful! The fabric has some give and isn't restricting. I wore a corset underneath and that kept me "lifted" and tall all night without worrying about my chest looking strange in a strapless bra.

I usually wear a 12. The 12 fit, but the sleeves were slightly tight, so for the ability to move around a little more freely, I wore the 14R. It was such a comfortable, beautiful dress. I got a ton of compliments. I wore heels with it, but could have gotten away with flats.

Perfect fit and streach material made for a comfortable night. Compliments all night long. Thank you RTR for an unforgettable night!

Loved the dress as it fit true to size. The only issue was that the zipper was a bit difficult to zip.

Gown was very comfortable and 4 regular length fit my 5'2" frame with high heels. Sequins did not bother me. Easy to move around in.

I rented this dress for the Marine Corp Ball in New Orleans. The fit was amazing and suprisingly very comfortable. The length was perfect. And the compliments never stopped coming. This dress was sexy and classy! Thank you!!!!

Comfy and gorgeous

I wore this to an Army Ball and it was perfect. Comfortable and breathable. If you have muscular arms, it may be a tight fit so definitely get an extra size, just incase!

This was a beautiful, form-fitting dress for a formal event!

I wore this dress to perform in a cabaret and received nonstop compliments. It was the perfect dress for the ambiance of a jazz nightclub. The sleeves were long enough that I didn't get any arm chafe. It was super comfy and didn't dig in anywhere. It was super long though and sometimes my stiletto heels would get caught in the back of the dress. This didn't happen when I switched to thicker-heeled heels. The slight ruching around the tummy was very slimming. I felt very beautiful and elegant, like a film noir star. In addition to the cabaret, I actually had a wedding during the same weekend of my rental and so I wore this dress to that event as well. It withstood hours and hours of dancing. 15/10 would rent again.

A very elegant dress. My husband loved it. We danced all night and it was very comfortable.

fit true to size

Great dress, tons of compliments. The dress has some give, which was really nice and made it a bit more comfortable to wear all night. Definitely could have worn the size 4 but it wasn't available. Long was a better option with high heels. I'm 5'6 and wore 3.5 inch heels with this dress. Wasn't sure how I'd feel about sleeves but they didn't bother me and I didn't have to wear my husband's jacket half way through the evening.

Worn for black tie Christmas party at 6 months pregnant. Wore my normal size (6) and there was plenty of room for the bump. Dress was VERY forgiving/stretchy and actually created shape. Lots of compliments! The party was a seated dinner, so I didn't have any problem with it being strapless. If you want to dance, maybe go with another option.

I wore this dress for a formal Halloween wedding and received many compliments. I am typically an 8/10, but did have to wear my size 12 backup size so I had enough room in the chest/to zip up the back and move my arms. I had the regular length and it was perfect for my 1 inch heel. Highly recommend this for any formal event where you want to wow!

This dress is a show stopper! I received compliments all evening! The dress was comfortable and very forgiving in the stomach area. If you are small chested I recommend a pushup bra as there is not much support with the built-in. Perfect for Pear and Hourglass shapes! This dress will have your shoulders back and head up!!!

I ordered the 6r and 8r. The dresses arrived as expected in good condition. The 6R fit perfectly. I liked that the sleeves were a bit sung. The dress was very comfortable not at all heavy. The fabric is stretchy and forgiving. :) I felt so good in this dress and got tons of compliments. The train was very stunning, but could get stepped on. Lovely dress! Great experience. I am looking forward to the next opportunity to rent.

fit of this dress was incredible. I had no issues with the sleeves-- they were actually my favorite part of the dress! the overall look of this dress was so timeless and classic. the black sequins really added so much to this dress. if you are looking for a classic looking dress but still want glamour and style, I strongly recommend!!

I order the dress on Thursday to be delivered on a Monday and received it the very next day as I live in New England. I order the the 14L and the 16 L. I am a size 14L and it fit fit perfectly. When the dress arrived early I was so excited to have a bit more time in case it didn't fit I had time order another. it turns out that worked in my favor. the boning on the left side was coming up and I needed another dress. I called on Sat. Morning and my stylist was extremely helpful. The new dress was set to arrive Tuesday and it did right on time. I am 5 '7 and the 14L was perfect for ME. I received many compliments at the event and can't wait to order another dress for an event I have in Vegas!!!

Pros: The dress fits true to size. I wore a strapless bra under but I could've went without one. I'm 5'8 and the dress was right at my ankles with 4" heels. The dress was extremely comfortable and I felt beautiful all night! Cons: Your hair WILL end up getting stuck in the sequins if you wear it down like I did. If you have broad shoulders they might feel uncomfortable when trying to lift your arms up because of wear the sleeve stops. My shoulders aren't broad and I noticed had a little bit of difficulty maneuvering while dancing.

First RTR experience but won't be the last! Great quality, comfortable for a formal dress. Recommend highly!

I did wear a strapless bra but all things considered (I'm a 36H) I had NO problems. The sequins hide any 'lumps and bumps' and the boning kept the dress in place all night through cocktails, dining, awards and some major dancing. Perfect length.

We have similar body types and both found the dress perfect! The fabric hung perfectly and was incredibly flattering! Tons of cat calls and compliments! Junior League Casino Night and no one else had the same dress!

I ordered the Marchesa Note Percision Gown in a 4R and 6R. The 6R was not available so they sent me this in 6R. The style is absolutely beautiful but it was a little big so thankfully the 4R in Marchesa fit great. I was so impressed with their quick thinking and sending me this other gorgeous dress. If you order this make sure to order your size and maybe even one down it was a little loose at the top.
