The dress was absolutely beautiful. However, it ran a little big. I ordered a size two and had to use safety pins to tighten at the waist. Maybe I just have small hips. But the flap in the back help covering up the safety pins and you couldn't even tell. Overall everyone said it looked beautiful.

This dress was beautiful, until I put it on. I have a pretty average build and this dress just didn't fit right anywhere. The hips were tight and the bust was huge. The straps need to sit pretty far our on your shoulders but don't stay put. I was really disappointed because I had been looking forward to wearing this dress for weeks and ended up having to wear a different dress.

This is a beautiful dress. The colors are vibrant and unforgettable. I got a bunch of compliments all night - mostly about the bow. The dress was too big, though. The straps on the dress were huge and I had to use fashion tape, and a lot of readjusting all night, to make them fit.

It's a pretty dress, although the fabric was more glittery than I was expecting. However, it was much too large for my frame, and no amount of pinning or taping would have helped. My stats: 4'11", 95 pounds, 30-23-32.

Unfortunately, both sizes I rented were too big. I usually wear a 4, but it was still too loose in the arms and the bust of the dress to even pin back. I ordered a backup size of 6, being as this was my first rental experience and I wasn't sure of fit, and that was just way too big! Luckily, though, RTR customer service was wonderful and they gave me a credit for my account which I used to rent another dress months later and loved!

Both the 2 and 4 fit, but I thought the 2 was more flattering because it hugged my shape better (and was not noticeably shorter). I ended up going with a different dress for the wedding, but this one was equally lovely and one I would definitely consider renting again for a future event.

This dress is simply amazing, from the style to the shimmery fabric; pictures do no do it justice! In person the colors are much more vibrant and jewel-toned, with beautiful yet subtle shimmer. The fabric is slightly thicker, which was great for a November wedding. I'm extremely petite, so this dress did run a little large on me, but it was nothing a bit of pinning along a seam couldn't take care of! The length however was great, it came a few inches above my knees. I got compliments all night and would love to own this dress one day! I definitely recommend it!

This dress is not very petite friendly. The material and style are very nice, but the shoulder straps were too long and there was a lot of puffiness around the neck area. The waist and the length were fine though so it may work better on someone with a longer torso/bigger bust.

looks great in front (very shiny/glittery), but the bow in back is not form fitting and looks a little sloppy. Maybe should have gone down one size...

I was really impressed by the colors on the dress and I loved the bow detail on the back. The shape was very vintage inspired. The overall fit of the dress was pretty good, although the bust and shoulders were pretty loose on me. Otherwise, no complaints!

I should have read the other reviews more closely. This is a really pretty dress but I almost didn't wear this dress at all because the armholes are so big and it's really roomy in the chest. As a few others noted, the smaller size fit much better in the chest but was too tight around my waist so was not an option. I ended up buying some fashion tape and securing it to my shoulder and around my bra line. It worked out okay, but probably wouldn't have been my first choice if I'd tried it on sooner.

Beautiful dress, photographed well, only cons were it was large in the bust for me, and the shoulders of the dress move around a bit. Not the most comfortable, but was very happy with the photos and compliments. The back detail was a huge hit.

I wasn't sure about my dress size since my weight has been fluctuating after having my son. I was a 2 before pregnancy and thought I might be a 4. I read the reviews and it said the dress ran big so I decided to get a 2 and everything fit perfectly except for the chest area. It was loose but not too noticeable. Overall it was a great first rental.

the picture makes the dress look blue and silver - it is really blue and metallic green - and to die for beautiful. This was our first experience with rtr and it was just what was advertised - timely, easy and perfect. So good that I am now renting for a party we are hosting this winter. Too bad my rental can't also be a size 0!

I was so excited to get this dress for a work cocktail party but so sad when I tried it on. The dress fit everywhere - the waist, hips, butt were fitted nicely and even the length was perfect for my 5'2 frame. However, I could barely fill the bust. My chest is very proportionate to the rest of me but I would have to be 2 times my cup size in order to fill this dress. Maybe the dress had been stretched out? I was so disappointed! I had to send it back.

I was really excited about this dress based on other reviews and pictures, but I found the style disappointing. The size 2 was a bit loose on me all over. The cut looked a bit matronly from the front. The bow in the back was cute, but most people don't notice the details in the back. I didn't want to pose very deliberately with my back towards the camera, and the dress just looked plain from the front. The short cap sleeves didn't sit well on my shoulders, and the dress kept slipping forward despite being made of a fairly stiff material. I wore a normal strapless bra underneath, but I had to push it down a bit to keep the top of the bra from showing at the back. Only one person complimented me on my dress the entire night, which is not a great compliment count!

I've worn Tracy Reese before and was comfortable choosing a size 10. Unfortunately it was all wrong. The bottom was too tight and the top was too big (it bunched). It's too bad too because the dress is beautiful. The detail shimmers and the bow accent on the back is fantastic.

I own many Tracy Reese dresses and this fit was WAY off. I couldn't even zip the 12 in the bust, yet the waist and hips were big. Very odd fitting. Lovely fabric and great concept, but a total waste of time and money for me to rent. I was going to wear this to an awards ceremony at my company but had to send both back. Strange fitting garment. What a shame.

This dress is beautiful! It fit like a glove with the exception of the chest. It was too tight to zip with a strapless bra so I had to wear a Nu Bra. Loved this dress!

I ordered an 8 and a 10, but neither of them fit me, so I wore my LBD to the wedding.

This dress is so vibrant with the perfect amount of shimmer. The colors are great for any season, and the back has a really fun bow. I rented it because it is so different from everything in my closet. Typically I am a 4 or 6 in dresses. I wore the 6 which was a little loose on top, but my hips were too big to squeeze into the 4. The dress is very form fitting and gives you a very small waist (and who doesn't want that???) The tightness around the hips was uncomfortable when sitting down, but not noticeable when standing or dancing.

This dress was super cute. Unfortunately, it did not fit my bust. I usually wear a size 10 and ordered the 12 based on prior reviews but neither would zip over my bust. The fabric does not have any give to it at all. I wish it would have fit!

This dress is tight around the rib cage and the back and then there was extra material around the bust. The cut and the bow did not flatter me at all. I could not wear this dress.

Sadly I didn't get to wear this one, it was WAY to tight and wouldn't zip up. I really wanted to be able to wear this one tho because it was so beautiful!

The back is gorgeous and a real show stopper. I think this is a great choice for any petite woman that wants a dress that will fall above the knee and show just a bit of leg. You must wear a strapless bra, but it's a supportive shape that will hold you up.

The 6 fit well but it's def a slim fit. The cut of the dress hits close to the body so curvy girls should size up.

I ordered the size 10, but the size 12 was unavailable. I was pretty bummed because the dress is totally gorgeous is person and probably would have worked in the next size up. I'll probably rent it again in the future in the right size!

I so wanted this dress to fit, as it was gorgeous. I am usually a 2 or 4, so I rented both-----the 2 was too tight through the ribcage and the 4 was way too big in the ribcage. Super awkward fitting dress.

I'm usually a size 2 or sometimes 4 but as it turns out, I had to send for a size 0. The 0 fit great in all the right places. I loved it! Everyone at the event complimented the dress.

I rented this dress for a wedding but unfortunately wasn't able to wear it. I rented my usual size and a size up as suggested in the the fit notes. I tried on the larger size first when I received the dresses, and was so disappointed by the fit. Being a pear shape, the dress was loose on the top, but barely fit around my hips. The fabric had no give. I couldn't sit down comfortably and couldn't think about wearing it to the wedding. I don't think a larger size would have worked either since the top was already loose. The dress itself was absolutely gorgeous and in excellent condition. Worth the rental, but if you're a pear shape, definitely size up a bit more than you think you may need to.

Dress was definitely a hit! i got compliments on it all night. It was definitely structured without a lot of give, but i not hard to dance in. I would just recommend getting the back up size a little bigger just in case. I usually go between a 6 and an 8 and had to wear the 8.

I rented this dress as a back-up dress along with another one. I did not end up wearing it, however, I tried it on and it is beautiful. This dress shines and would definitely stand out in a crowd! I would recommend this to smaller busted women however, because the top would not zipper all the way up (I am 34C), but the rest of the dress fit perfectly in my usual size (4). The next size up would have probably zippered, but then the rest would have been way too big.

I could not wear this dress. The proportions are very weird. The dress is very large up top and tighter in thigh area. And the arm holes are really cut too large.

First time using RTR. I usually wear a size 8...so I ordered a size 8 and 10 just to be sure. Ordered the dress to arrive the day before the wedding. TOTALLY DIDN'T FIT MY BOOBS. That being said, RTR did try to accommodate me..I just need to leave at least two days before the event next time just in case it doesn't fit. Freaked out, called RTR, and was told they didn't have the dress in the next size up...so they sent me a totally different dress around the same rental price in a size 10. Unfortunately the UPS man felt like taking a break that day and didn't deliver it. So I had to be sewn into the dress!!! Without my corset and spanx, there's no way I would've fit into it. For you curvy girls, I don't suggest getting this dress. Although it did look good, and everyone complimented me on it, trust me, it's not a dress for dancing or moving much at all. I had to be careful the whole night. It's not too short...the hem was an inch longer than my finger tips. If you're more slender or straight and narrow, get it. If you have a bust, hips, or curves...get it two sizes up to be sure.

I went one size larger for comfort, mainly in my hips. The dress was perfect for a formal wedding. I LOVED the bow in the back and the sparkle to the dress. Very classy. I got lots of great compliments on the dress!

This dress was brighter than I expected based on the web photos, but it was beautiful and not too shiny for an afternoon outdoor wedding. I loved the style and the colors, but it was tricky to wear. There is absolutely no give in the material (think brocade), and though the size 4 fit, it was not flattering and the back of the dress hung awkwardly. The 6 was a little large on top, but it worked. Even with the 6, though, it was hard to raise my arms high enough to put up my hair or dance. I got lots of compliments, and it definitely stood out from everyone else, but I'm not sure I'd rent it again for a summer event with dancing.

Runs small

I found this dress to be much tighter than expected. I had read the other reviews for busty people, but I could not squeeze mine in with a bra. There was a bit too much side boob once I did get them in, but I did make it work. Overall I felt the dress was tight, which made dancing and sitting a little scary at times at an open bar wedding - but such is life. Cute dress, just maybe get a bigger size than you would expect!

Couldn't even wear. Returned. Too small and shows off your entire back so you can't wear a bra. BUT RTR ROCKS and returned it and sent me a replacement over night!

I found this dress to run pretty small. I'm usually a 2 and I couldn't even zip it up. Thank goodness for backup sizes! I liked this dress a lot - especially the bow detail in the back. Would recommend this dress to anyone.
