I could have gone with the size 2, but it was a little tight on the lower half and bunched up a little when walking. Standing up I didn't have any problems with the dress, but since I am more of a petite size, the dress was a little loose in the top when I sat down. Overall the fit was pretty good, but might be a better dress for someone who is slightly taller.
