Runs true to size. The only caveat is that it's a little short (not a problem with leggings, but I think I would've been a little more self conscious if I decided to go with bare legs). The dress looks mostly black and the gold/bronze color pops in the right lighting. Definitely great for a night where you are looking to be more modest and covered up. The lace is very pretty and the dress holds its shape nicely throughout the night (not easy to wrinkle or stretch out).
