I rented this for my medical school formal. The attire was "cocktail formal". This dress is 99% sequins, but I found it very comfortable. It pulled slightly across the thighs, but not enough to go up a size. On me, it hit mid-thigh and was neither too modest nor immodest. I got tons of compliments!
