I'm so glad I got a second size because I have a bigger butt than most women and the 18 fit over my bottom perfectly but was looser in the top. I had trouble getting the 16 over it, which is my normal size. There is very little stretch to the fabric so I would take that into account when selecting a size. Other than that I absolutely loved it for my dinner rehearsal and my stylist helped so much with all my questions!
