I got 3 compliments on the necklace, the first being right after I took off my coat. People said "Great necklace" and "Gorgeous necklace"! I wasn't sure when I first opened the package if I would like it because it is very flashy but when I put it on, it just went so well and made me feel like a princess. I think it goes best with strapless gowns to formal events only.
