Rented this for a late summer, black tie optional wedding. Rented both the 4 and the 6 and I didn't see much difference between the two sizes. The 4 fit very close to my body from the waist down but the fabric gives and I had no problem sitting or dancing. I wore nude undergarments and they couldn't be seen through the liner and overlay- the sequins are well placed which helps. My only difficulty was getting in and out and I had someone help me so I wouldn't pull any of the sequins in the dress.
