I wore this dress for my 24th birthday. The fabric is a thick knit that holds everything in and doesn't stretch out throughout the night. My only issue was the sleeves were a little tight and rub against your skin if you're moving/dancing around a lot, which is irritating. Other than that, the dress looked amazing and was perfect for my birthday. The graphic black/white jacquard on this dress looks great with a pop of color- I wore a bright turq colored necklace. Because the dress is pull-on (there's no zipper closure), it's best to put the dress on, and then do your hair and makeup after. It's kind of a process getting it on/off, but definitely worth it.
