Putting the dress on was difficult and itchy because of the sequins, which is why I sized up. The medium was form fitting but the large gave me room to avoid the irritating sequins. Also, if you have a larger bust and backside like I do, this dress is really flattering and hugs against your midsection just right. The dress is a showstopper. I got so many compliments in it (I heard "Beyonce" a few times *blushing*) that I'm sad to have to send it back. It was so much fun to wear and I'd definitely rent it again.
