I rented the XSL and it was WAY too long even with 3 inch heels. I highly recommend getting the R if you are under 5'6. I used double sided tape to hem the length, but the R would have fit perfectly. I also had to take up the straps to keep them from sliding down and so the top would hit me at the right spot.
