I rented this dress in both the 4L and he 6L. Let me start by saying the long size is very long! Even at 5'6" with 5" heels it was too long (though I suspect that it may have been because the hem seemed to be out at the bottom). Other than that , the dress was beautiful and seems like it would be very flattering if you were looking to hide you mid section. It's more purple than blue and the "belt" is a bit darker than the picture shows. All in all a good rental, I recommend a size down for your backup and make sure to be careful with the length.
