So glad I ordered this as a backup dress at the last minute - it fit perfectly and was comfortable all night, and I got so many compliments I won't need to dress up again for a year! Rented this for a Downton Abbey-themed auction I was running - so I needed to look great but feel like I could bend and move and run if necessary. This was perfect. The description says you can wear this with a standard bra - but to get the portrait collar effect, you have to shove your bra straps off your shoulders. With my bra (full coverage), this meant I was often checking the spot where the cups meet the straps, as the cups didn't want to stay tucked in. A different bra wouldn't likely have this problem, though, and I was very glad I could wear a bra (though it would've been fine without) - just a little support was the right amount. Didn't feel like I needed spanx, either.
