I rented this dress for a Great Gatsby themed party. I think this is the only place you can get away with wearing this dress. It looks cute on the site but is a lot busier in person. I told my friend that I half expected to see a figure skater at Sochi wearing this dress. I got lots of compliments and it worked perfectly with the theme but I wouldn't rent this dress again. Also, the sequins scratched my arms and I had little red marks all over when I got home. This dress is fairly true to size but the fit is weird. The waist is low and will draw attention to anything extra around the middle.
