I ordered a 2 and a 4. They both seemed to fit pretty much exactly the same in the body but the 2 was considerably shorter. Since the 4 was more length appropriate for a rehearsal dinner I went with that, but my fiancé said for another occasion the 2 would be "hot"! As other reviewers have said the color is more a midnight blue than black. I have pretty slim arms so the dress fit me well there but I can see how someone with more muscular arms would be uncomfortable in the dress. I got compliments all night long and felt gorgeous!
