Fit & length were perfect -- it's quite stretchy, so it hugged my body really well and was incredibly flattering. It was not as short as some of the reviews would suggest. I was swimming in the size 6. Definitely suggest sizing down, especially if you're petite, because it will be an awkward length. I got compliments all night on my lovely, classy dress in a sea of too-tight, sparkly frocks.
