I'm normally between a 2 and 4. The 2 fit perfectly everywhere expect the arms, it was a tight enough so that I went up a size and wore the 4. I admittedly have larger arms so if the shoulder area is never a problem for you and you are normally a 2, the dress is true to size. If you sometimes have problems with the arm holes in shirts you might need a size larger than normal. The dress itself is wonderful, I had women all night coming up to me and complimenting my dress. If you are looking for a unique fun dress to wear to a fancy event, this is it!
