I tried this dress on in a 6R at the Rent the Runway showroom. Rented the 6R and 6L and I think I was really in between the two in terms of length...my height is the cut off for the recommendations between the R and L. My heels were around 2 1/2- 3 inches. The fit was perfect and hid my post-several babies tummy nicely (as did spanx!). I wore a strapless bra so it did not show in back. I usually wear either size 4 or 6 but when the 6 fit nicely, I did not bother trying on the 4 as I wanted the Long as a backup rather than a different size.
