I have a pear shape and it fit me perfectly -- fitted on top, hugs the waist and then flares out at the hip. The material under the lace is really smooth which makes it very comfortable to wear while still getting the effect of the lace overlay. I'm also short (5' 3") so the size 6 hit me right by the knee. Had I worn the smaller size (4) it would have still fit but been slightly shorter (which I would prefer) but the arms felt more restrictive so I went with the 6 for comfort. I wore this to a movie premier in NYC and it was perfect for the occasion. Paired it with black tights and heels but could also see wearing this in warmer weather. Very versatile. Loved this dress, wanted to buy it!
