The dress is good for petite figures. It was a great fit, but it doesn't give you so much shape. If you have no curves at all, I think you'd be pretty disappointed with this dress. It was a looser fit for me ITA 38, but since I usually wear size 0 or 2, that would be expected. Even then, the fit was still great. I think since it's yarn, if you were borderline on sizes, maybe getting the smaller size wouldn't hurt. Yarn can stretch a little and give some forgiveness. Also, the dress was short, but it wasn't too short for me. It was just the right height. It's very colorful, like the picture, and it's definitely different. You will stand out, but in a good way! A major caution with this dress is that it does not have a slip, so be sure to wear nudes underneath the dress. Also the dress was a little itchy; it has yarn with glitter in the thread. This did not bother me too much though, so I'm not docking any points. It was overall a great dress. Just be sure that you know you could wear this dress and are aware about wearing the right stuff underneath, and I don't think you'd be disappointed.
