The dress is not for petite women. It was very long on my and very loose, especially in the waist area. I am 5'1" and about 105lbs and I got the dress in an XS. I should have pinned it to make it shorter, but I was already running late so I didn't. Overall the dress was great. I got tons of compliments and it was the perfect 12/12/12 birthday dress!
