The dress fit wonderfully. Fitted in the bust, but forgiving enough around the hips and waist that I could eat my heart out without feeling self-conscious! The 2L was a tiny bit long even when I was wearing 5" heels, but luckily I didn't end up tripping over it. When I kicked my heels off to dance, I did have to hold it up a bit though, so if you're my height and not wearing tall heels I would recommend the 2R. A normal strapless bra worked perfectly.
