I am a size 4 but often wear a 2 in dresses. I only had this dress in a 4 and it was a little big. I wore a strapless bra with it so that helped give me the sense it wasn't going to fall off and I didn't have to tug on it all night but it was pretty loose around the waist. It still looked great though and it gave me lots of room to eat. It was a very comfortable dress. Perhaps it's supposed to be cut that way though and that's why the model has her hand on her hip because that's where it was looser. I still think it was gorgeous and am so glad I wore it. It would have been nice to try the 2 on though.
