I did not feel Amish at all in this dress! (See review below.) Rather, I felt glamorous, sophisticated and a little edgy. I wore this to a holiday party with a simple faux pearl necklace, with my hair up. The material is heavy with a slight ribbed texture, which was really flattering and helped smooth everything out. Perfect length. The open back is fun -- a couple of guys I hadn't seen in awhile gave me hugs and got a little surprise with the open back (haha).
