I splurged on this dress because I was putting on a charity gala and really wanted to look my best, both classy and sassy. The material is less like lace and more like wool than I anticipated- not as formal as I was going for. And although a consultant at the RTR trunk show in Philadelphia told me the dress ran true to size- I barely fit into the larger of the two sizes I ordered (the 8). I have a full bust but a fairly small waist and this dress didn't accentuate my curves at all. It did have room in the bottom though. I wore the dress in the 8 and I think I made it work in the end because I had to- but I would have like to feel more glamorous for my event.
