I usually wear a 4 but I had to size up with this one. I ended up wearing the 6. As others have mentioned, the band around the rib cage was tiny! I was able to zip it up on 4 but there was no way I could wear that dress all night. I could barely breathe! The 6 was still snug around the rib cage and the top ended up fitting a bit looser than I would have wanted, but I think it still looked fine. I'm 5'4" and I ordered the R length. I wore 4 inch heels and the dress was still probably about an inch too long for me. I didn't find it to be a problem though. The color is beautiful and the silk feels luxurious. This one's a winner, but size up unless you have a tiny rib cage.
