I rented this dress for my sorority formal and got nothing but compliments all night. Fits perfectly but I would definitely go with your smaller size. I'm normally a 2 and the xs fit perfectly. I also ordered a small and it was way too big. The color was beautiful and so was the shape. It hugged all the right places and I never felt like it was too tight. I absolutely loved this dress and highly recommend it!
