It's a beautiful dress! It was a bit tight around the midsection even though I was wearing Spanx, so in hindsight I could've worn my normal size 14 instead of the 12, but I think it was fine. I liked that it was a nice substantial fabric, but it didn't feel overly heavy or warm. One of my favorite features of the dress is that it has pockets!! You can't even really tell they're there until you feel for them, and they don't add any heft to the hips which is nice. For a girl with a little bit of tummy like I have, you'll definitely want some shapewear under, but the awesome thing is, that you can wear a regular bra with it!
