It fit beautifully. Definitely true to size. I'm 5'8" and wore the dress with 3 inch heels. The zipper was terrible, but that may have been just a flaw in this particular gown. There's a ton of fabric in the skirt, it flowed beautifully when I walked. The slit started about mid thigh, and wasn't noticeable until you are sitting or walking. I really loved this gown!
