I wore this dress for my fiance and my engagement party which was a black tie/red carpet affair. Nervous that it may be tight I ordered the 6l and 8l but ended up wearing the 6L. It felt a little loose through my waist but since I've got hips- the 6L fit just right. I've never received so many compliments about how beautiful and sexy the fit was. As for fit- the sequins were not uncomfortable under the arms because they were so small. The length was perfect with my about 4-5 inch heels. I did wear a strapless bra though which my friends had to constantly fix in the back but other than that- I would order this dress in different colors if it came that way. Definitely suggest this for any formal affair!!!!
