Fit snug through the bodice but not too snug to show bra lines. ( I wore a black strapless bra) Very comfortable and enough stretch to be forgiving. The zipper worked hard so had to have help getting it zipped all the way up. I debated on the length and was glad I ordered the long length. It covered the shoes slightly so I was careful to lift the skirt when I walked. This event was standing and sitting so no problem. No dancing. I am 5' 7" and 132 lbs and maybe one of the oldest to wear this dress (62 yrs.). It was fabulous. Many complements!! Thank you Rent the Runway...
