I didn't end up wearing this dress (ended up with a gorgeous RTR dress, just not this one). It runs small in the waist. I'm pear shaped and usually wear a 6 in a fit and flare type of dress (Kate spade, etc), but this 8R was unflatteringly snug and the waistband hit lower than my natural waist (ie, closer to my hips and not the smallest part of it). Also, unless you have thin upper arms, the front view of the dress is not flattering. That being said, the lace on the back is beautiful, the skirt flows beautifully when you walk, and the fabric is heavy and nice. Overall a pretty dress, just not the best for my body type.
