The dress runs small, so definitely will need to get one size bigger than you usually wear. Loved the length. Was worried about it being inappropriate for church, but was totally fine. By the end of he night (or should I say early morning) I was ready to be out of it. Make sure you have someone there to help you zip it, and unzip it. You will not be able to do it yourself. Felt like i had to keep pulling it up, but only for self conscious reasons. Overall loved it, and would wear it again.
