The boning provides amazing structure and fit to the dress. Never once worried about it falling down, even on the dance floor! I have read past reviews of the boning being exposed on the Size 10 -- I'm not sure if RTR carries more than one of each size, but the one I wore was brand new (tag on it) and was very comfortable. The bottom of the 10 and 12 fit mostly the same, it was the top where I saw the most difference.
