I rented this gown for a formal Oscar party. From the rental pictures, I thought this dress was black with silver threading. It is all black sequin. The dress is not heavy! The 4L was a bit short with heels, but the 6XL was too large. If you are between a 4 & 6, the 4 will do. The only 'annoying' thing about the dress was the bust wiring on the chest. It kept cupping in and pulling fabric. NOT A PAIN, but something I noticed when the dress first arrived. The dress was easy to style and you will receive many compliments :)
