I wore this dress to a formal holiday party in San Francisco. The dress was absolutely beautiful and easy to wear. It's VERY forgiving and I was easily able to wear the smaller size. If you have smaller cup size, you may need to give it some extra filling- the dress very much reduces your bust. I ended up wearing a strapless bra with some extra help in there to give me cleavage. Some reviewers complained about the sequins itching especially under the arms: I didn't think that was a problem at all and I was comfortable all night. This dress is definitely a show stopper: so many people came up to me commenting how lovely it is. If you're more on the shy side- this dress is NOT for you because you will definitely stand out and be the center of attention. I loved it and actually toyed with the idea of renting the golden version for another event.
