I rented this dress for a formal (black tie) affair. When it came, I could tell that it had been worn many times, as there were a number of small strings hanging off of both dresses (my size and the backup size) and the sequins were beginning to shed. The dress makes me look boxy and slightly heavy in the midsection. While trying it on, I felt the need to readjust the hem by pulling down the under layer and twisting it. I am 5'9", have an athletic figure with narrow hips, and do not have a large stomach. Unfortunately, this dress was not at all flattering. I ended up borrowing a beautiful beaded slip dress for the event I attended.
