The fit was smaller than I thought so I am glad I ordered the Large as a back up. My friend who was a 6 tried on the M and she said it even felt a little tight in places especially the arms. There were some loose strings I had to trim but, but overall the dress held up very nicely. This is the kind of dress that is fun to wear for an occasion like NYE, but to own it is silly because you can really only wear it once! This dress was a perfect touch to make my NYE fantastic.
