Old Hollywood! The dress runs large. I was 5'4 at 150 lbs when I wore this and wore a size 4R. The length was perfect. The sequins was a little scratchy but not bad. It looks SO ELEGANT on that a little scratchy-ness didn't bother me. I didn't get any redness on my skin or anything like that. It photographs so incredibly well. I felt like royalty wearing this dress.
