I'm usually a 4-6 based on the fit on the stomach. I have built arms and legs, but my middle is my problem area, this dress really is not very forgiving on the stomach. It photo-ed okay, but I was uncomfortable with my stomach! Very cute, I'd recommend for just about anyone else but me :)
