The dress runs short, I am 5' 7" and with heels, the long was just long enough. I normally wear a 10/12 in dresses because I have broad shoulders, but the fabric allowed for more give than I anticipated. I wish I had the 8 to try on. It is incredibly flattering and easy to wear. I would highly recommend this dress to anyone who wants to feel like a movie star. The only trouble I really had was that the zipper stuck at the waist and the high back made it very difficult to zip without help.
