I am 5'9" and quite broad through the shoulders, but I felt really beautiful in this dress! I can wear a 14 or 16 in dresses and went for the 16 in this and I am glad I did, as the 16WL fit like a glove. I ordered the regular and the long and ended up wearing the long with 4 1/2-inch heels. I did have to be very careful of the hem -- the overlay is very easy to step on -- but I never tripped. I took off my heels during the afterparty and just held the edges of the hem with my fingers to dance. The dress is fully lined, incredibly comfortable, and easy to get in and out of. The zipper does tend to get stuck a little bit at the waist ruching, but it wasn't a big hassle.
