The fit of the dress is pretty true to size. I ordered both a 2L and 4L because I read a lot of reviews that stated the dress ran a little short if you like to wear heels. I ended up wearing the 2L (I am 5'7) and with the 3 1/2 inch heels I was wearing the dress was a tiny bit too long (had to hold it up to dance to make sure I didn't step all over it). However, other than the length being a little too long, the dress is absolutely beautiful. The 2R would probably have been too short to wear with heels.
