This was perfect for a black tie wedding with lots of family present - classic but not too flashy! I can see why it's such a popular dress - the only part that's truly fitted is around the waist, and everything else is flowy, making it very accommodating. I am 5'5" and ordered the 4P so i could wear comfortable shoes with it that were just a low 1" wedge, and it worked wonderfully.
