I liked the high waist but was worried because of my petite size (waist lines don't always hit me at the right spot). However, the petite size worked really well for me. The length was great with my 4.75" heels. The color was very nice and a bright (but not alarming) choice for a formal event. Between the 4P and the 6P, the smaller size fit up top but the 6P fit better around my rib cage and let me breathe. A very beautiful dress for any evening event!
