Although I didn't try it on, I should have worn the 6R. I didn't wear it because it was dirty. I ended up wearing the 8R and it was a little bit big but I was super comfortable all day, which was great. The zipper was a little tough to get up around the rouching in the back but my fiancé didn't have as big of an issue as I did. You'll definitely need someone to zip you up. I would definitely rent this dress again! Just make sure to look at the skirt all the way around, there's a lot of fabric and the 6R had what looked like a drink spilled down the front. I wore 3" silver strappy heels with it but I didn't have any issue with the dress when I took them off to dance. Just be careful of stairs!!! It was a bit treacherous with all of the fabric in the skirt.
