This dress was amazingly flattering as well as comfortable. We had dinner before the ballet, and it was even comfortable after I stuffed myself full. The boning in the sides hugged my curves and defined my waist. I sat most of the night (dinner + the ballet) and it did not bother me at all. The length was a bit short in my opinion (I am 5'3" and it barely came to my ankles) so I might consider getting the longer length next time simply because I wear high shoes and I prefer the elegance that extra long length gives you. I am 34D+ and didn't need to wear a bra because the dress provided a lot of support, but I wore one anyways just to give it a nicer shape up top since it did smush and flatten a little bit. My fiance loved the dress so much he wanted to buy it for me to keep!
